  In 1962 I was still in high school and very intolerant of heat. Wouldn't have came to the meet then and wouldn't come now. Wise decision to cancel. :-P

   Records are falling today. The temp. was mid 60's and the track must be good. The Beast didn't get a record but did run 242mph.  The #62 CIR roadster bumped the record from 185 all the way up to 193.
