Vacation???  6 days of hard *ss work, preceded by a week of hard work...before that it's a blur...but I've loved it.

Since landracing.com contributions are payin my expenses, I kinda wanted to give Nancy the coverage.  I think she just might have been a sentimental favorite for the LR folks, too.  Yeah, I want a Canon 7D, but I can't afford it and I wanna see hat the user reviews say before I buy one whether I can afford it or not.  :)

And I'm sure my eyes will be about as moist as Lynda's were when I showed her the birthday thread.  But I'll be back in August and if my friend Jim has anything to say about it...well, I'll just quote what he said: "Man, we GOTTA build a race car!!!"  One of the worst cases of immediate onset salt fever I've ever seen.  :)  I got this Monte Carlo that's real close to ready for the 130 club...that might just get a little wrenching this winter.

Today is beginning to feel like the day we return home from a vacation.

Withdrawl is gonna be a _itch.

Thanks Ray, u done good except that you got addicted to the 7D and SSS when you and Nancy get home it may be

snowplow time.

Don't utter Good Bye, just say, "see ya nextime" as Lynda releases you to the real world as you leave Lands End.

It's OK to have a lump in your throat and moist eyes.

Oh yes, as you lumber along, make a list of the things that need to be done for next year. You can't start any sooner.

For the 77 crew, Tanis must have missed chef Michael Lueders.

Love Ya All. See you at the Bville NW Reunion February 13, 2010.

Who will get the One Ball Award?

Ray,  just order the camera. You will get one sometime and it may as well be now.

Post your fotos and your public will pay for the camera.

You already have a website and the LSR fotos are  posted. In mid winter, people will be needing a B'ville fix

and orders will appear. No driver can click a foto of himself driving and you are the source.

I love the USA. How much longer will we be a free nation?

Asking questions is one's only way of getting answers.

The rational person lets verified facts form or modify his opinion.  The ideologue ignores verified facts which don't fit his preconceived opinions.

SSS or R the R, is there any way you could get more info on the  engine in Spriit of Rett streamliner ? Like cubic inches, is it still  a carb engine, like Wooden had in it before  he sold it or is it mechanical or electronic fuel injected, who built and tuned the engine, the type of fuel and any other titbits you can glean from that outstanding team.  Thank you for your efforts.... Mike R.

The engine was built at Reher Morrison Racing by My brother (Brad Morgan) and myself. It is about the same engine we did for Earl Wooden except Brad did some more R&D and was able to squeeze out some serious power. Its simply 500+cid Pro stock engine (I thinks its now 536cid) turning some pretty obscene RPM. It is still Carbureted on gasoline and used around a 150hp shot of N2O. To make a lot of power carbs are the only thing to use.

Darin Morgan,   THANK YOU Sir for the info....  There have been some really impressive runs made over the years at Bonneville,by racers from all walks of life and I must say your brother and yourself  are right up there with the best of the best.. Congatulations on a super job of engine building and TUNING.... Mike R.

Now that I got the record return shots up, they've just finished final qualifying and will start the final batch of returns as soon as they get the computer set up for it.  Here e go again.

I see Seldom Seen Slim is . . . um . . . Seldom Seen? Hasn't posted today.
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.
