Lakester for sale PRICE DROP

Lakester for sale built in 2018, only raced at Loring meets. overall length 17ft. 4in., wheel base 144in., 1 5/8in. X.120 wall DOM tube frame. Weight 2166lb. Hoosier tires, steel rims, coil over front and rear suspension, tube front axle, Moser 31 spline rear axles, Winters quick change, Big Ford (Torino) housing ends. rear disc brakes, no front brakes. Skinned in Aluminum.  296 cu. in. 8BA Flathead, Offenhauser alum. heads domed to match Ross Pistons, bore is 3.375, 10.2 compression ratio, Ross racing rings, Best head gaskets, ARP head studs, 1.75 intake & 1.62 exhaust valves, Crane cam and lifters, Isky valve springs, Hard Blok filled, knifed crank 4 .25 inch stroke. Aluminum flywheel, 3 speed trans, Hydraulic clutch. Holly #4150 750 cfm carb. Highrise aluminum intake manifold, MSD ignition, electric water pump with 15 gal water tank. date valid 5 point harness, Chute, drivers suite, 2 5lb. bottle fire system.  I am selling for a friend, this is the best information I have available, I will try to answer any questions. This is a well fabricated car, turn key, ready to race at Loring, Bonneville meets this year.

Just so you know, 3.375 bore and 4.25 stroke is 304". How fast did it go? Just curious. I kinda already have a Flathead powered Lakester.

I was going by a notebook left behind so I may have misinterpreted it. The best speed to date was 151.6 in 2020 or 2021, I'm not sure. There is more in it as far as speed goes.  The builder passed away this past July.

This is a really well built Lakester with plenty of potential left from the combination. Watched it run many times its a really easy to run combination.
Sorry to hear Jim has passed away.
Working in the shop I use the 'F' word a lot. No not that word these words Focus and Finish go Fast and Flathead Ford!
