Vintage engine question

This question is for vintage engines in general, but specifically V4F.
Can I run a dry sump oil system?
I can back up the fact that various internal combustion engines were using dry sump technology as early as 1929.
Thanks,
C. J. Daniel

Yes you can use a dry sump system. Specific questions, the answers to you are relying on, I think, should really be directed to Roy Creel who doesn't seem to answer here.
