Cannot thank Bob "Stainless" Steele enough for the sage advice and invaluable help getting the bike up on the pipe. Who knew sportsters can shift at or above 8000 repeatedly (sometimes at 8500). We dropped one tooth on the front to get the rpms up to where the one size fits none turbo would finally build boost. Funny how that works. Salt was cement hard, dry but did have some texture. Morning temps in impound were mid 40's to low 50's and daytime temps barely got into the 80's (Friday return runs were ran in 64 deg still air).
Will let Bob tell what the offseason holds in store for the lakester. More to follow, probably in a new build diary, on changes to the bike, possibly lifting the gas cap and rolling a whole new bike under it. A five speed Bruce Jenner is definitely on the short list.
