Maybe 'cause there's a whole lotta shitt to do with over 400 entries to do rather than informing non-paying non-participating folks with information they'd like to have (and they might have it if they'd paid to attend and/or observe).

One's always welcome to add to the volunteers if one would like to help in streamlining the event.

Yes, there certainly are more entries at Speedweek, so I suppose that does makes it tougher.  And personally, I do both pay and volunteer.  I would have been at WF now, but the doctors wouldn't let me delay my chemo/radiation treatments any longer - like I did for WoS, so I could work in Tech and Impound.   I've also worked for SCTA/BNI in timing and as a course steward.   I plan to be back working once again at Speedweek in 2022.

The Turbinator ran 482 in mile 3 on a test run.  That's about 20 mph faster than the mile 3 speed when the car did the 503 a few years back.  I don't think it ran again today.  I also don't think the Speed Demon was there, or, if it was, I missed hearing about it.

I checked the email from which I copied the speed - and you're, I was wrong.  Thanks for the correction.

So, is that 420 "at the 3" (from Mile 2 to Mile 3) or 420 in the 3rd timed mile (from Mile 4 to mile 5)?
