More bikes (that was my first love, in my youth!)
In the bike line, my 450 Honda in front of my Dad's van (seen through the windshield)
Another shot in the line. I was running APS-C-500 and A-AG-500 (open record) that year. The bike put 20 mph onto the existing APS record (to 121.102)
In 2007 the bike is candy blue (actually painted it that color for the 1969 "Wheelstand Championship" event at Orange County Raceway). That Fall the bike ran a 13.37 quarter mile on Wednesday night, before blowing the right piston on a 13.58 "wheelie run" during Sunday racing.
On my 62nd birthday, 2007. Notice I've lowered the bars, fixed the exhuast (in '69 I had them hanging on long straps that cracked and broke easily, and the headers were hoseclamped to the megs). Also put a scrambler front fender on it (strangely, the original long rusted away), and I lost the fairing years ago in Colorado (one of life's mysteries).
