J.D. Tone in print
« on: January 07, 2013, 03:30:01 AM »
Got a copy of "The Harley in the barn" for Christmas. It is the lateset in a series of books about finding vintage vehicles written by Tom Cotter. One of the stories in the book tells of a man finding and buying a Bultaco motorcycle that ran at the Salt back in the early '70's. It explains how J.D. helped track down it's lineage. It was neat to find a familiar name in there. There is also another story in the book about Burt Munro's Indian. These books are fascinating. I highly recommend the entire series.
