I was a course worker for the Silver State Classic Challenge in 2022, plan on doing the same at the Nevada Open Road Challenge this May, then plan on using my autocross car (Ford Focus ST) to run the Silver State this September.  Something tells me the car that put me into the Bonneville 200 MPH Club (the Double Eagle, a "needlenose" diesel streamliner) would be very well suited for such!   I've already used the Focus for two SCCA AutoCross events this year - its 10th year of doing them.

When I first read the title I thought this was pertaining to the Salt Flats my thoughts went quickly to  Boat racing

Working in the shop I use the 'F' word a lot. No not that word these words Focus and Finish go Fast and Flathead Ford!

I am looking for something else to race, Silver State, or even South of the border, just haven't found the right vintage typecar yet. I do not want to stop running at Bonneville, just something else to run, plus most of those races require street legal cars so I could use it for a driver.

I've been seriously thinking about volunteering for a course worker but I already volunteered for the Bonneville off road racing (BORR) to do recoveries this season. Thier 1st race was canceled though.
BLM saying it's too wet.
PM me more details on it.  If they were shorthanded I may be able to make it happen.

Since the salt is wet again.  Here's some racing going on this weekend  (Saturday).
Bonneville off road racing (BORR) is having its Knolls 200.
If you like off road racing,  desert trucks,  ultra 4, UTV's.

I volunteered to do recovery and get my own checkpoint this time.
Rain,  sun or snow it's still happening.
