Looking for answers about whether or not a current SCTA membership card is required at ElMo registration.
Looks like my move to California is happening, and I should be able to make the last 2 events of the year. I paid my Sidewinders dues at the beginning of the year, received my 2018 rule book, and as such I am an official SCTA member for this year. In the packing for my move west, I cannot find my 2018 SCTA membership card. I cant remember from last year (old age is a bitch) if I needed my SCTA membership card to sign up for racing at El Mirage. Perhaps registration has a current member book. I do have my Competition License, which is separate and not dues or yearly based...
Anyone have a definitive answer?

It's possible the registration trailer has a roster of each club members. Not positive but I believe so. If you have a copy of your cancelled check to the Sidewiners with your log books you should not have any problem proving it. I keep one in the 3 ring binder zip bag with log books and reciepts, photographs, etc which pertain to my car..

How about contacting the Sidewinders?

I'm pretty sure they have a roster. I've never once been asked to show my SCTA membership card when registering - although I do carry it in my wallet.
