Andy Lally, ALMS road race champion, is out of control. He was invite to participate in a race in SF Ca., got to be crazy! By the way they were racing 4 abreast.

Well -- this is an old topic so I don't feel bad about hijacking it. But -=- I was looking for a place to show these photos and the title -- "Absolutely Crazy" seems about right. Chris Harris sent these shots of his new wannabe new play toy.

And here's the text that goes with the photos:
Recession? What recession?
So, it seems that this "global recession" has not impacted negatively on everyone.
Check this out!
It's a Mercedes Benz owned by an Abu Dhabi oil billionaire (naturally).
Featuring the newly developed V10 quad turbo with 1,600 horsepower and 2800nm of torque
0-100km/h in less than 2secs, 1/4 mile in 6.89 secs
running on biofuel.
That is NOT stainless steel,
it is WHITE GOLD!
Worry no more about high gas prices, now you know it's going to a good cause, ( just not yours....LOL ).
Yup - I'll agree -- absolutely crazy.

I just can't read the yellow text, can you repost it?
thanks

Sorry 'bout that yellow. I thought it'd be darker and easy to read. All fixed now -- I mixed some blue with it and you now can see the results - and the text, too.

One thing is for sure, these clever guys will figure out a way to drastically increase the price of racing oil. This weekend I looked around town, found the best deal, and bought a two year supply.
