Nish had the Top Speed of the meet when I left Friday afternoon but his feet were held to the fire by Fast Freddie Dannenfelzer in his B Fuel Lakester. He was afraid that he had missed the 5 mile marker so he clicked it off and slowed between the 4 and the 5. If he had driven it out the backdoor like he generally does, I think the 371 of Nish would have dropped to second place. Look at the increases in Freddies speed from the 2 to the 3 and then the 3 to 4 speed. He only needed 6 MPH to have had Top Speed of the meet- when I left. That car has a sound the shakes the salt.FREUD

Hey Oceanside, the baby will be old enough for any of the remaining meet of 2008.You could have some marvelous fotos for her baby book starting with the BUB Meetbut even World Finals would be acceptable.Missed you.FREUD

As long as we're looking at FF Dannenfelzer's timing slip, what's the data in the lower left -- the "SP: 5.537"? I learned the answer once -- forgot it a while ago. Someone help me, and us, please

Should be a 208 mph average. They started the week on their own 199.998 record and bumped it to 202.xxx and then bumped it by a couple more tenths again, then low and behold he pulled out a 208 run yesterday and backed up this morning at 208 and change... Good job Stainless and good job Rob for twisten that throttle a little bit more.New 200 mph club member.Jon
I believe the SP is Station Pressure and I once knew how to relate it to barometric pressure, but forgot
