:x   :?  Where are all of the helpers?  Why wasn't a Chat Line reminder posted?  What is going on here?  I realize it's crunch time for the builds, but...geez, if you can comment on one of the other threads, why can't you take 10 seconds to do the chat line reminder?

This is NOT going be forgotten when you get to Land's End this year!!!

Hopefully back for good, Glen.  Had a nice trip down with no complications.  Finally had to stop in Tremonton, I was too tired to go the last 150 miles.

So, for now I'm back to my 183 miles from the salt!!    HURRAY!!!!!!!!

CHAT LINE TONIGHT

Don't forget, it's Tuesday, so it must be Chat line tonight!!  There's LOTS to talk about, the El Mirage Meet, Maxton coming up, crunch time for the builds, old Bonneville pictures, Jon and Nancy's Pastys, John Noonan's record run, Cajun Kid's Studebaker, Marlo's liner, Mad Max....  Well, you get the idea!!  I'm sure we'll hear a new and exciting  excuse from SSS as to why he's going to miss the chat again tonight!!    Hope to see you there!

"New and exciting", hey?  Unh, let's see.  Mmmm, Nancy will be getting home from work around 9.30PM, so that bodes well for me being able to join the crowd.  BUT - because she'll be late I need to load the truck all by myself for tomorrow's 6AM departure for Maxton.  That bodes ill for me being on the air tonight.  As for Nancy's pasty pasties -- maybe I should send the original photo to you, Lynda, so you can put it up on the Chat Room for all to discuss.  No, I don't know if it's possible to put a photo on the Chat -- just thought I'd tease the guys.

Jon,

Now, having to load the trailer for a 6am departure is not only new, but exciting!!  Let me be the first to tell you that is "the most awesome" REASON for not joining us tonight!!     I think Nancy's pasty pasties should wait just a while longer....no sense making the guys short circuit their engines from drooling on the wiring!!   Make 'em wait!!  The suspense won't kill them, but I'm sure the photo will cause a long pause in their builds, and we all know this is some critical crunch time!!

So now you all know. Lynda will get on your butt's if you don't show up tonight. SSS and his better half have  excuses. All kidding aside the chat line is a good way to spend a couple of hours to catch up and or pick on people. Lots of good information passes through here. Hey how about Noonan's 242 mph in the dirt, awesome run.
