For Sale: Modified Roadster. Built by Mel Swain. According to the rule book the fastest BF/MR to ever run at El Mirage Dry Lake Bed. Under Mel's ownership it set and still holds the fastest 3 records at El Mirage in the AA, A, and B, Blown Fuel Modified Roadster class. I bought this car off of Mel and have not changed one thing except to take all of the names, sponsors, and car number off of the car at Mel's request which I did and had a new number put on the car. I bought this car as a roller, and it is set up for a 426 style Hemi motor, with a Lenco 3 speed transmission. It has a George Parker Quick Change Rear End in it with a 1-1 Ring and Pinion. It has been stored inside since I have owned the car. One of the nicest Modified Roadsters ever built IMO.
