I know we don't want to talk about it -- but someone told me today there were two fatalities.  Any info? . . .

Thank you Slim and Ron for an excellent week of announcing and colorful commentary. It helps to have been on the salt and having had lunch at the Enola Gay. Y?all provide a valuable service to those of us who want to, but can?t be there.

Folks, please hit the donate button. It?s a good way to say thanks.

According to their video,
the lowbrow customs guy crashed his twin engine Triumph.
I didn't hear any mention of that incident, or read any press releases.

One I heard about was a 95-year-old rider on an old Indian bike.  I hope that's wrong.

At the end of the event Jim Kirk came over to shoot the breeze and show me the massive injuries he suffered when he wadded the 7662 into a ball during that bad day on course 2.  I saw a cut on one of his fingers and that was about it, and he sure looked good.  I didn't talk with any of the others so can't give details 'cause I haven't heard any other than yes, there was an older dude or two that crashed bikes.

But dead racers?  No, I'm pretty sure all of us would know if there'd been a fatality.   I haven't.

Hopefully, what I heard was wrong.

(That's why I posted it in the first place -- to verify it.)

Stan.. from a retired fireman who watched the roadster spin, flip and barrel roll his observation was not very positive. I talked to him after he returned home.

Don't forget to give landracing.com a little financial support from time to time.  You won't miss it until it's gone.  At least a handshake with something in it works for me every year.

Donation made just now ....

Jon can apply it to the new AC fund or trailer fund.

Thanks again to Jon and Ron for their hard work keeping us all up to date while they are on the salt.

Is the blue strip down the middle of the course a permanent thing. I hope so.

Does anyone have a photo of car #363, he got my old record in AA/BGALT, just wanted to tell him how happy I am for him.
