Attend the drivers' meeting on Saturday morning, too. It will help you understand what's going on.

Google first time at Bonneville and you will find several threads to read with suggestions and check the scta-bni Bonneville pages.  Lots of answers to questions you haven?t even thought of yet
It's time to stop reading about history and start creating it

Thank you to all for the great insight.  Lots of info to digest.  I am going to spend a couple of days at Speed week, listening and observing to all I can.  I entered the USFRA event.  I am going to prepare as much as I can within all the areas and most of all have a great time racing the Salt flats. If I go 100 or 200 or whatever, my goal is to enjoy the atmosphere, the people and the experience of participating in this great sport.

Bad attitude!  If you follow through you'll have a lifetime addiction.  Goodbye retirement savings, disposable income, and understanding neighbors.

But you'll congratulate yourself for doing it -- for the rest of your days.  See you on the salt.

Not nearly as well as I remember the Monster Energy girls! :clap

These two were a couple (pair?) of the "Monster Girls".

Welcome to the world of LSR! Along with the other comments about your dog, remember, unless he is stone deaf, the loudness of the vehicles would be trumatic! I agree with the other folks, leave the dog home and be free to go/do what/where you want! Enjoy, but be ready to 2nd mortgage your home! lol8

Some well-behaved dogs have been at Speed Week.
