I know this is a lot to hope for, but.........

In the "good old days" when we went racing we just rented a large army surplus tent and slept as many as necessary. If it happened to rain you could always bring a car into the tent to work on it. Needless to say there was no floor in the tent.
Somehow I don't think that's the solution you were looking for!
Good luck.

How 'bout calling Kerri Supanich (might be married now -- so mi9ght be new name) at the West Wendover City Tourist Welcome Center? She's the lady that tipped us off to the nice apartment we rented a few years ago and might be able to help you find something.
There's also Brian Boatman, who lives in a nice house in W Wendover. He often rents out the basement (which is a fully-furnished and finished apartment) to folks for the race events. I don't know his number right off -- ask Kerri. He works in the court system (if that'll help you track him down.
You might also try asking Mike Crawford. He's the owner of the Carquest store in Wendover and also the Wendover mayor. He could perhaps give you some information.
The phone numbers are pretty easy to find. Sorry I don't have time right now to dig 'em up. Call Kerri first and she can help you with the others.
