Wheel bearings/ Lube
« on: January 01, 2008, 08:34:38 PM »
Is there any difference in wheel bearings thats different than what was supplied with a OEM manufacture? Or a certain type that has less friction?

Also, is there a difference in lube or grease for packing these bearings?

I am looking at packing the metros bearings for racing, wondering if they make "roller" type bearings, and what lube to use at the salt.

Thanks
Clay

use the search function, you will find at least 3 discussions of bearings and lube, and a thousand opinions of what works best....

Clay,
Look up Kluber on the web. Best bearing grease made.
