That is not a nascar race car, that is a production car sold to the public.

What color is the seat on your bike?  lol8
Threw that in for you Stan...

So... My bike doesn't have a seat.  I guess that means Time Only for me, huh?

It was a NASCAR race car in 1969 and 1970, when they ran real cars :naughty aktion086

Well it certainly looks like your bike has a place to sit... doesn't look like a kneeler.... also legal... If you were trying to make a point I must have missed it....

Vegabond there is a Very fast lakester for sale on racing junk that your motor might bolt right in... tried and proven... puts you in a class to use your HP and set a record... If you set a record you are in the 200MPH Club....

Stainless:
Point is... having a "Seat" and having a "Place to sit" are two different things.

I understand Stans sarcasm, and that he believes that there are too many bike classes,  but if you guys want to break it down to different color seats,
then logic dictates that there should be a class for bikes without seats.

Without a designated class for bikes without colored seats, I would have to run my bike for Time Only, Right?
When it comes to this Rules/Classes stuff, the devil is in the details.

Honestly, I just asked the provocative question "Why not a Nascar class?"
There's no reason to not be able to civilly discuss the rules of racing without it devolving into a flame war.

Geeez!  I thought Stainless gave you lots of solid answers and reasons.  Perhaps you might review them.

You can race NASCAR cars at Bonneville!  You just have to follow the organization's rules for construction and safety.  Same for all the other organizations -- they set the rules for the competitors.

Other Land Speed organizations allow them to run (and maybe set a record, I don't know).  Their rules are different from SCTA rules.  Different venues, different rules including construction and safety rules for that particular venue.
