Is this thing on?

It sure has been quiet on the Forum today.  Is service slow at your internet because of a traffic jam on the information superhighway, and that's why you haven't posted?  Just checkin'...

Hi Jon:

I just sat down a few minutes ago. It seems to be working fine here. It seems to have been slow for the last while. Maybe everybody's building stuff!!!

I posted in wanted yesterday.... read 88 times... so folks are checking... maybe everyone is hunkered down with the weather...
I didn't get anything done on the lakester for the last 2 days... but shoveled a path to the shop while removing the 3 ft drift from in front of Linda's garage yesterday... she was stuck at home for 2 days...
Yea had to chip ice too, but after some help from the sun... she escaped
OK, not UP snow, but people over 70 are not supposed to shovel....

Yooper suggestion:  Back into the garage so you've got one car length of traction.  Warm the motor, open the door and nail it.  DON'T lift 'til you're completely through the drifts.

What's a "garage"?
And anyway, any sort of similar space has race cars in it.......

Around here... The cars and trucks stay outside.
The garage is for the motorsickles.

I took this pic 13 April 2020 just after performing the "ramming speed!" maneuver to get out of our garage.

Bob..Patti's car is spending the winter under a fitted cover in the garage....My poor 'Burb is the family taxi. The same yahoo that plows our street does my driveway. I know it is hard to get a person with a PhD in quantum physics to plow other people's drives......But this clown does the street first and then pushes the snow from my driveway into the street ???? Odd.

I guess y'all don't realize that the house I live in has Linda's name on the deed... not mine... so her cars are in the garage... the 3rd car is full of my motorcycles...
The trucks and trailers live outside, the race cars are in the shop...
Slim I don't think I'll ever suggest that Linda back into the garage... I'm the guy that has to fix the sheetrock and other broken stuff around here

Stainless, I frequently send thankful thoughts to Dave V., the contractor that built our garage.  He insisted that I get 10-foot wide doors for it.  15 years and no hits!
