Well done Rockracer!

The videos are great, especially for those of us north of the border who haven't been allowed down there over the last couple of years because of the pandemic.

Thank you!

Pete

WOW! Thank you so much for the video part 2. I'm the white 79 Trans Am at 6:34. I drove up from Scottsdale ran 152 and made the 150 club. Got my 150 hat and later certificate and badge. A dream come true. Can't wait until September to up my game. Ten years to make it back after making the 130 club.
No trailer ran 135mph at the World of Speed 2011 see you in 2012 in Ohio and back at Bonneville at the world of speed going for the 150club 1979 Firebird T/A White . Ck out YOU TUBE. KERRY AT BONNEVILLE. Didn't  make 2012,2013,2014. ECTA in Ohio 2012 trans went out and 2013 fuel problems . Still trans and fuel problems. Finally all looks good. Ready to drive (no trailer) 1500 miles to Bonneville and It's cancelled. NEXT YEAR. SEPT. ECTA RAN 144 MPH. GETTING BETTER. 2021 Ran 152 fulfilled a ten year dream to make the 150 club.

Glad you both enjoyed them. I like hearing the stories on the cars.
I just received a new 100-300 lens for next year.  Can't wait to go back. Maybe I'll drive the ratrod out.

Here is Part 2.

Thank you so much for those videos. They were very instructive to me. Most especially how hard it is for most to get going, and the fact that there seem to be no speed shifters.

Well, we use air to shift up and down, and it is a bike transmission... not really speed shifting, but it happens quickly
This is the push for Ross's 241 MPH I/BFL record at WoS
Yep that is Monte out there for the launch... and you can hear a shift or 2 before the wind noise in the truck drowns the car out because it is already a mile away

Well here is another WoS Ross run.... his first in Bockscar... Just to get another sound fix.... Shift points are set intentionally lower so he doesn't go too fast, the benefit is we get to hear more motor and shifts sounds   8-)  His goal this run was stay under 200... ran 191....

I wish I could have gone flat out but I signed up for the 150 Club at WOS 2021. As it was, I shifted from 1st to 2nd and then into 5th. I was staging behind Kerry in his white Firebird. No need for speed shifting!

Hi Neil
What was your speed? Also when you run a class which class will it be? Do you have to do more modifications or is your car tech ready?

Kerry, I got a timing slip for 157.458 mph. Yes, my car is ready for the 150 Club but I don't know about B/GMS. I haven't decided which class I'll try this year. How about you? Are you going to the GoodGuys Car Show at Westworld in Scottsdale next month? I'm thinking about taking mine.

Hey Neil, Get it ready and see what it or you will do...  You don't need to run it to 160 again.... you need to work your way up in speed anyway... give it a little rein, be safe, have fun... go fast...
You will never know if it will do 253 until you try...

I'll give it some thought, Kerry.

Take your Firebird to the GoodGuys show- it will impress everybody with your timing slip and it's street legal to boot!
