Lots of tidbits from Burly.... shirts still available....an Irish site...visit to Maxton coming up....
The USFRA has advised me they still have 130 mph event T-shirts from the 08 World of Speed featuring the Bruch/Burly turbocharged 36hp bug. The shirts are available in both short and long sleeve versions, a good variety of sizes and of good quality.
If you would like to acquire a commemorative shirt from the event where Tom Bruch broke the all time 36hp sedan record with his speed of 103 miles per hour in the Bruch/Anderson beetle, please contact Ellen at

FLASH: There is a great new website for all Challengers to visit. Go to www.bonnevilleorbust.com and follow the efforts of Team Ireland who will be coming to the World of Speed from Europe in September to try the Challenge. Paul is from Northern Ireland and Britt from Northern California and this will be their first visit here as racers.
I will be flying to Maxton for the May ECTA meet on the 16th and 17th and hope to meet the east coast 36hp Challengers while I am there. Please be sure to contact me so I will know to look for you.
