Want to help "Save the Salt"? Bo Burkdoll and a buddy are going to start.....
....casting Save the Salt plaques in aluminum, and giving them to Mary West to sell as a fund-raiser for the StS fund. Bo wants your broken aluminum wheels, the holed pistons that aren't on your "Offerings to the God of Speed" shelf, and other scraps. YOU pay the shipping (hey, this is a fund-raiser, so help out, okay?) to him. Send your stuff to Bo Burkdoll, 1364 HARROP ST, OGDEN UT 84404. Thanks for your kind "donation". If you've got questions for Bo about the plaques -- he's "#31" on the Forum - just started with us recently. Look him up, send an email, start a topic, whatever -- but think about that aluminum that's in the pile in the corner of your shop. Here's another idea -- if you'd like to help "Save the Salt" and save a buck or six on shipping, send Bo some money and have him buy the scrap aluminum locally in SLC. That way your money will go 100% to STS - not to the shipping company that'd have to get the metal to Bo and his bud. Think about it -- but do it some way or another, and help save the salt so that once again, next year, we can say "the salt is even better than last year, and it's as good as I've seen it in decades". Thanks.
