SCTA Official Updates on salt conditions for World Finals 2007
September, 30th, 2007
There is a storm currently on the coast of California and Oregon. We have an eye on this front. It is predicted that it may hit Wendover Monday night. We will keep you informed of its direction and intensity.

This mornings 'Report from the Salt' says that there has been only occasional spots rain from the latest storm front. Wendover and the surrounding areas experienced the tail end of a storm front that swept down from the Pacific Northwest, but it should be completely gone by noon. It is cloudy, windy, and cold, but the course is dry and they will continue to groom throughout today.

STILL LOOKING GOOD AND 10 DAY FORECAST FAVORABLE. Onsite reports from both the "end of the pavement" and the Intrepid facility this morning indicate no rain and dry salt. We will have an onsite "Course inspection" late today or tomorrow and will update the Website ASAP thereafter.

We are watching the current Wendover rain situation and will have onsite "damage assessment" early next week.
