Driver's meeting - when/where is it? - question
« on: July 15, 2011, 07:49:42 PM »
Is there a driver's meeting held each day during the WOS or is it a one time shot on the first day? Trying to figure out when I need to arrive by in order to make the meeting(s).

Where is usually held at?

(I attended in 2010 as a spectator and know the lay of the land so feel free to give me a landmark).

It'll be in the immediate area of registration and very well announced.  I don't know the precise time it starts -- but it'll be 9 or 10 AM or so on the first day of racing.  You'll find out more with your registration packet - and also on the USFRA website - www.saltflats.com.  See you there!

If you miss the opening morning, when you go through tech just ask the techs about where the 130 course is laid out.  When you are in staging, the 130 course techs and starters will fill you in on which way to turn out, and don't feel shy about asking them, that's what they are there for.  :-D
