How about the FIM records? I know it takes a while to authorize and the FIM to confirm but, a list of pending records would be nice.

I just want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation to Leslie Porterfield and her crew, namely Jeff the tire guy, for their help given to my daughter this year at the BUB. After cutting a rear tire while in the timed mile on a return run, we thought we were done for the week. We put out a notice looking for a tire. A very helpful staff member came by and suggested we go check with Leslie's pit. Leslie not only had a spare tire, but also the correct size for our Honda. She also saw that we got the tire mounted and balanced right then and there. We had the tire back on the bike and ready to run in less than an hour after pulling into the pits. My daughter went on to further increase her speed for the week.
Once again, thanks to Leslie and her crew!

Leslie and Al lent me a sprocket, a couple of years ago, that helped me get the production record. Great people.

A big Thank You to Santa Claus
for kindly providing my Son with a Buell and riding gear
so he could make two runs in RWB (126.853).
He had to fly back early for College, and by the time I got home
he was suffering from a full blown case of
Salt Flats Fever. Uh Oh!  :-o

Thanks Again

A very big thanks to California Fritz for giving us a tire after we cut down the chair wheel tire on our sidecar.......also many thanks to Craig Anderson  for the use of his spare electric shift module and the 18 tooth sprocket.......thanks to these fellow racers we were able to up the record to 158mph ...with
fast time of 162mph......(with passenger Warren Ryan in the sidecar)................................................

I would also like to note that this year Drew and the Tech. crew did a outstanding job inspecting our sidecar for safety..... they did not miss a thing...............................................................................

And certainly a big thanks to all the people who worked the event and to Denis Manning and Delvene
for allowing us to race at a all motorcycle/sidecar meet.

And finally a thank you to the AMA and FIM for giving us the option of using a passenger in the sidecar.

Now, now, Glen; you'd also think by now that the SCTA would have the complete results (Friday) up for Speedweek

I was proofing it for the the 2011 BUB Yearbook and I see a couple potential errors.
Bike #175, Rick and Nida Murray, I think the old and new record speeds are reversed.
Bike # 748 Erin Hunter, I think the old and new are reversed. I will send a note to Delvene and Linnea to have it checked.
