9.9,
the factory steel box will probably be okay.
I was thinking v-twin. a picture of it would help.

is the lithium battery going to be wired in for a 24 volt start?
some people run it that way. on my ZX the booster battery was not in the charging system.
that battery would need a steel structure.
or, it could be a remote battery ( not on the bike itself ) and plugged in when needed.

I will get soem pictures of it so you  can make a better judgment on advice. I appreciate it. The baterys are not wired for 24 volt just  12 which works fine. In fact its a little overkill as the 320cca bateriy does fine. I was just doing some testing and wanted more juice to see if it would make a difference. It did help when it was 10 degrees out :)

The OEM box is more of a steel frame I might have to skin it but I will get soem pictures going.

Here is some to start with. the first is the box out of the bike

here is what it is like in it

This is the basic OEM unmodified box . In the picture withthe bike you can see the airfilter box in front which is all plastic. This box is where I keep the lithium battery, and my Vampire individual cylinder knock control unit. Like I said I can either change it or pull the batter out as it just sits in there.
