Bob Stroud is BACK AT The HELM at Stroud Safety
« on: July 05, 2011, 01:50:19 PM »
Just got off the phone with Bob Stroud...he's back! He has taken over the company again. He is digging his way out of the damage the former owner caused. He asks a few weeks to get things back in shape.

I am a happy camper!!!

Whoa . . that is good news! I thought he was "consulting" back to the company for a while but the arrangement didn't work out well. He was the only one that actually knew anything and there was a extremely long lead time if you called the company with a question. Sometimes there was no company follow-up at all. With Bob back that situtation should change for the better.

We ordered our door net from Bob, and sent a pattern. For some reason, the net showed up 10" short. By the time we tried to put it on, we only had a couple of days until we were leaving for the salt!

No problem for Bob. He had us send the net back, along with the pattern. He made a new one, and over-nighted it to the hotel in Wendover. When we arrived at the hotel, the net was there!

I don't think you can beat that for customer service. I'm not sure what happened on the mix up with the original net, and I don't really care. The fact that Bob made it right, and got it to us in time, says a lot about the man!

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

You can't make a race horse out of a pig. But if you work hard enough at it you can make a mighty fast pig. - Bob Akin
