Stickers? We dont need no stinking stickers!
« on: July 03, 2011, 09:21:53 PM »
OK, here is the prob.....

I replaced my winders this year (yes, I meant to say 'winders'). This had my 175 sticker, now the winder is a wall hangen' .....also....my cage where my chassis sticker is, is so worn and painted over the chassis sticker is almost DOA.
Can I request a new 175 sticker (*OK, admittedly that seems like a no prob situation and almost not worth asking....) but I was wondering how requesting a new chassis sticker is handled?

Any issues with the 175 or the chassis sticker replacement?

I requested a new sticker for my chassis after replacing some tubing. The SCTA in the person of Roy Creel sent me a replacement hand scribed with Rick Yacoucci's chassis number. Rick and I eventually got it straightend out.

Wow you actually got a 175 sticker? I havent been able to get one since we put a new headrest fairing on the car, they are always "out" or "in the other trailer" or "someone else has them".

To get your chassis sticker replaced you have to send a written request to the SCTA explaining why.

Your right. It was a chassis sticker. When my old 175 sticker went away I just requalified and got a new one.

SEnd a note to Roy Creel or the office requesting a 'DUPLICATE' chassis sticker. They can now make one with the same number.

Requalify for the 175. Your are a different class anyway, correct?
