Older topic, my .02. Why do we even care what the French think?!  :-D CarsFIA, bikes FIM, soccer FIFA,cycling UCI, the French seem to have there hands in them.

For sale, French tank, only used once, in reverse.

Rosco is FAST

norm...you asked who the fastest Australian is....

ITS ROSCO......

John responded with a great question to you...

given the same measuring equipment...would you rather have fastest FIA record or be the fastest...?...

factually....fastest is fastest...

A mis-understanding of how International motorsport governing bodies now operate.

FIA based in offices in Paris but represented in over 120 national clubs around the World, including the USA through ACCUS. In the UK we have MSA.

FIM based in Switzerland but represented in most countries of the world and yes even the USA (through your AMA).  In the UK we have ACU.

UIM are based in Monaco but again have worldwide representation and once again even in the USA (through APBA).  In the UK we RYA.

I will not go on but the French elements in each are not so strong.

French is an international language and it appears on all sorts of things that do not originate in France.  My old American passport has everything written in English and French.

Just some unimportant trivia re the French, I have heard that 80-90% of the English language originated from the French! Therefore, a large percentage of the World today are actually speaking French, i.e., Any word that ends in "ble" as in able, table etc came from France  :-D   As I said unimportant to LSR but interesting all the same
