It's a strange new world.  Monaco 2015:

The testosterone-fuelled world of Formula One rang the changes, and surprised more than a few drivers, at the showcase Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday by replacing the familiar 'grid girls' with male models.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, a four-times world champion with Red Bull, jokingly offered his opinion.
"Why didn't we have any grid girls today? What was that?" asked the puzzled German. "You get there and park behind George or Dave. What's the point?"

Hope you're well, Tony.

It's the Hemsworth effect.

I expect they're looking to further the gains the movie, "Rush" had with the female demographic . . .

"Furthermore, the Rush audience is predominantly female, whereas, the F1 audience is predominantly male.  Although more in-depth research is required to understand the reasons why, one factor is likely to be Rush’s star, Chris Hemsworth, who is more famous for his portrayal of Thor."

Let's face it, guys - we're going to go to the races either way, and for some strange reason, we actually watch the race.

No point in preaching to the converted.

Who cares about the weather...I am just watching the forecast!!!

Slim, the weather report reminded me...

I just hit the PayPal for a little something for the cause. I am not sure where I would be without Tony's avatars.

I'd probably be out in the garage getting something done.

Yeah, well, in Beerhaven, it's a quasi Polish Yooper dialect of some Anglo/Teutonic linguistic root (sometimes referred to as "'sconsin"), the meteorologists are all named Vince, Gus or Adam, and they're wrong half the time, too, yah there, aina' hey?
