Never use the "R" word the week prior to the Race weekend,,, it is bad juju...

The forecast is 50/50 now for Sat and Sun,,,, so equal chance of sun !!!  the glass is half full,,, not half empty,,, just focus on positive weather,,,,

One thing for certain todays long range forecast will change and the odds are the change will impove our chances of  dry or mostly dry Sat/Sun

I hope you are right Charles. It went to 60% Sat with the possibility of storms being severe.  50% off and on showers all day Sunday.  We start the Sun Dance today, and know you don't want to see it.  If the forecast holds we will be there, but if its worse on Thursday we will have to rethink things.  Maybe the Sun Dance will work.

I'm with you there Eric, but I'm thinking of all the 150 and under running as the track dries.  Not complaining, just the reality of off and on rain.  We'll make our final decision later today.  With 2 trips to maine this year the budget requires being creative.

Things are progressing with mounting the lsr body on the duc but we might have made some choices I would have regretted later if we rushed it last night to be ready so... I am passing on this event and putting the money into the bike in hope of a great debut in October as I doubt I will get her down before then due to my training.  I do hope to make an appearance without a ride in June or September if possible.  I have a 1965ish Benelli Wards basket case keeping me amused in the meantime.

Well, where you guys in the east are looking at a possible rain out at Maxton, here in the west they are looking at a possible blow out for the first event of the year at El Mirage.  Forecast is for high wind out of the south/southwest to almost 19 gusting to near 30.
