Let us all remember and a heads up to you post "WFI" Landspeed racers.

This rulebook, that some of you curse and  you others WHO try to circumvent its rules for whatever sekfish reason, is the rulebook of the  SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TIMING ASSOCIATION . That organization reserves the right to put anyone on the cover they (it) desire(s) IMHOP.

It's been written  with the application of sound engineering and sometimes as the result of correcting the mistakes of rhose who are no longer with us. BUT WITH FAIRNESS TO ALL!

JH-When your fever goes down it would be good if you ponder on the letters SC. As used in SCTA. They stand for Southern California. You are using the SCTAs equipment when you are running at Bonneville. You are using SCTAs rule and class structure. A lot of SCTA people working to put on the show. Be happy for what you have. It's a lot better than trying to set it all up your self.

It doesn't get any clearer than the above two posts. I for one are glad that I have the privilege of playing in that sandbox. Tony

It's hard to get on the cover of the rule book..and really hard to stay there a few years in a row..

I wonder if we will see JHN's car on the SCTA event shirts?

He could be on the Salt Talks shirts -- by being highest bidder.  How's that for fame?  He could even supply me with some of his chosen barbeque sauce to decorate his and his dad's food at the picnic.

Buying your fame can be pricey, earning it from your peers is "Priceless"

John, it is a fund raiser for the Salt Talks shirt.... see other thread.... and you can put any LSR vehicle on there if you are one of the top three bidders.  Let's keep that a positive thing...

Yes the SCTA's #1 bike and car points champion should always be on the rule book cover.  That spot is earned by racing and always should be.  JNuts, many non-points chasers show up as the example of a vehicle.... as well as on the event shirt and poster.
I choose to play with them, they have done a great job of organizing my fun for 33 years.  Yes I have a beef with them every now and then, I voice my concern and move on.
If you want to be on the cover, join a club, pull your duties, race at EM and win the points championship, hell it must be easy, Noonan has done it multiple times

True.  Its so easy most of us don't bother.  The SCTA should really make it more difficult.

"JNuts, many non-points chasers show up as the example of a vehicle"

And guess what - even non-record holders show up in the book. Take a pill!
