I have a highly usable transaxle core. It came off a 1.8L engine, but does fit the 1.2L engines. The only thing wrong with it is the first gear syncho is shot. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears all function perfectly. I have not taken it apart. It was running perfectly with the exception of first gear up until I replaced it with a heavy duty racing transaxle. It has about 50K miles on it. It will fit the 1.2L engine housing, any VW Bug, Karmann Ghia, early 60's porsches that use the H4 engine. Never dropped or damaged. I am asking 200 for it. The cores sell for 250 and the transmission rebuilt sells for 500. Sorry I don't have photos I might be able to get some later this transmission is in storage. I live in Dallas Texas so if your buying from far out shipping might be high. I don't know I have never shipped a transmission before.
