Time to Thank the Volunteers
« on: April 04, 2011, 11:11:25 AM »
As always, it's my distinct pleasure to thank our skilled and dedicated volunteer corps for their hard work.  This makes these events possible and as I've said before we can't do it without you.  You continue to make me and the ECTA look good.

Thanks Again

I would like to thank the starter. I don't know his name but he did save at least my pocket book. If not my butt. Seems that a brand new Morosso Mandrel bolt that had been torqued, some how worked its way out. It had fallen on the ground and he had the fore thought to poke it thru my window net and ask me "is this yours".  I could have lost some very expensive stuff on the front. As it was I went home with all my parts and no leaks. Didn't finish all my rookie runs but there is always next time.
Again Thanks, GOOD STARTER!!!!!

I took some photos at the Awards banquet and posted them on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/42396184@N00/sets/72157626448035376/. Apologies for the quality and not knowing everyone's name.

Thanks to all the volunteers for a fantastic year of riding!

Sam

Not to take a thing from Steve (he's a GREAT guy!) but he won the Lee Tindall award as Volunteer of the Year.  Super award for a super guy!
