Race Cake...
« on: March 14, 2011, 06:25:04 PM »
For my 50th birthday my wife Tricia made me this very cool cake!

The guy on my right is Scott Jensen, who was also celebrating his 50th birthday. My wife made everything including the little guys (on left is me in my firesuit - right is Scott in his Top 1 crew shirt). Everything is edible except the candles!

Under the lights...

And no, that's not salt-flavored frosting...

Thanks Tricia!

Dang, that's cool as all get out, Rocky.  Many happy returns of the day -- and tell Tricia that she's welcome to visit here and bake a cake any ol' day.  That's a super-looking cake.  I saw on your Facebook stuff that you celebrated the birthday a few days ago -- but how'd you get the cake today?  Or -- are you just now recovering from the whoop-tee-do party?

Well, my birthday actually is March 9th, but that was a weekday. We had a shindig Saturday night and so I'm just now getting around to posting the pics. Tricia is pretty handy with the cakes. I just hope the streamliner on top of the cake had the oil drained before consumption!
