2011 Rulebook and Changes
« on: March 01, 2011, 10:12:48 PM »
The 2011 Rulebook is complete.  I want to thank all of you for your patience while they have been reworked.
Don't panic! There are very few changes to the rules. (listed below)
What we have done to the book is:
1) Add class overviews to help newcomers figure out where they belong quickly.
2) Clean up redundent and unclear language
3) Bullet point narrative sections that amount to 8 rules on one long paragraph.

All in all, we hope the format changes will be benefitial.

RULES CHANGES
1) This is not comprehensive. Be sure to check YOUR class rules to avoid suprises.
2) MC motor class changes
    A) Omega added to A and SC classes
    B) Sport Class motors (S) added.  This region is big in motorsports so a class has been added for snowmobile engined bikes.
    C) 2-Cycle engines 1000cc limit changed to 1500cc.
3)  Motorcycle APS change - Rear fairing rule changed to follow SCTA in covering rear wheel.
4)  Motorcycle over 175 require FULL SPINE Protection.
5)  CAR - Parachute mounting plate definition.
6)  CAR - Radiator rules in Production and Gas Coupe Classes.

Think that's it!

Hope to see all of you at THE MAINE EVENT!!!

Registration will open as soon as the books are printed!
