Hey Mike, that one works  :-D
I removed the other duplicate threads with the wrong web address... didn't want to get JN in too much trouble at home by visiting porn sites by mistake.

Jump back in here and tell us all about what you have going.

Jon,
A propeller will not work on a bike, as the safety chute will get entangled in it, jeesh :-D!

For those of you that don't know Mike - he's the fellow that's built a jet powered bike.  he's from Ohio and has twice taken the bike to he Shootout.  The first time was a year and a half ago, and he ran the bike to 200 -- which was his assigned limit for that event.  He was back for the 2010 event but had engine troubles (I think it was also the starter that gave him and his crew fits) so never did get in a run.  One night they did fire up the jet in the parking lot -- we know because we were in the motel right next door. and we heard a very familiar groaning roar - and then a very bright light coming from the same direction.  Sure as heck, in the finest Bonneville tradition, he and crew fired the motor right there - at their motel.  It was a sight to behold.

So, Don -- yes, he really does have a parachute on his bike.  And no prop to tangle the lines. . .
