My question is about the Omega engine designation (for cars).
From the 2010 rule book, page 15, Section 2a, under the heading "Engine Class Breaks"
Omega is defined as " [omega symbol] engines using a thermodynamic cycle other than Otto."
Back in the motorcycle rules on page 128, Section 7.J.13 there is an expanded explanation of the Omega engine class that includes words ". . .This class includes electric, . . "
So an Omega class motorcycle can be powered by an electric motor. Example would be Kent Riches electric motorcycle.
For car classes (specifically for Omega lakester) can I run an electric motor? Or, does the use of an electric motor in an Omega engine class only apply to motorcycles?
