Yes, but -- A: you don't have much time.  If there's a lineup you'll be sweating bullets.  I think Rick opens the fuel truck around 6.30 or so, but if there's a line  (see above).  And since you've got a requirement to be in the line/parade going to make return runs -- you're not allowed to hang around and say "I'll catch up with you later".

I forget what I was going to say for "B".

....and "B" -- in that melee you might have a hard time in the dark to find someone to oversee the fill-up in Impound.

This is one of those enlightening threads that makes this place great for a newbie like myself. Several  good points made (and taken). Thanks.

You might think about "what if I want to run fuel" in the building process. I am on my fourth tank and it will be big enough I hope!

point taken
it is better to live one day as a lion, than it is to live one thousand days as a lamb. or maybe it is better to burn out than fade away.

That's exactly why we went with a 20 gallon tank.  Doubt we will run fuel, just run in the fuel class.

I believe Stan is mistaken about difficulty in finding some one in the impound to assist with the refuel, reseal process.

Dan --

You're probably right -- but . . .

Why take the chance with everything else you got to do in the limited time in the morning when you've got up to 4 hours the previous evening?

Stan

P.S.  I love your new orange cover!

Mine is a 496 BBC.  Uses about 5 gal on Methanol.  About 8 on 25% Nitro.  11 gallon tank.
Its not just about running out, its about whether you like inspection ports in your pistons............. I know.................. Bob

Hope the box is not outside.  I hear they won't go out 'til the 1st of the month.  For your sake, I hope I'm wrong (as usual).
