Lynda,

our lab will stay home; she is 11.

I just emailed Ellen Wilkinson at USFRA to find out how our group who is flying to SLC and arriving in a 12 passenger van between noon and 2pm on the 13th will get in  - I bought 10 USFRA memberships for our students and chaperones, yet we just finalized the names and do not have the cards in hand.

how would you suggest to go about this?

Mike, while I'm not speaking in an official capacity there shouldn't be a problem. If you explain the situation briefly at Roads End you'll be impressed at just how accommodating we are.  :-) Wayno

Wayne, with you looking out for them they are in good hands.

Threat them well. They are a NEW part of US.

We want them back. Soon the MPG will change to MPH. Even if it isn't the HS class it will be the members of this group.....

All of our kids grow up.

Watch to see if they get a dragon fly on the nose.

Wayne, from 3 years experience - I know how friendly and accommodating WOS folks are; Ellen got back to me too. We, the advanced scout group will be on the salt Tuesday morning - the students and chaperons in the early afternoon.

It's going to be great  :-D

Thank you all

Michael, I have roving patrol on the short course. That's the first 3 miles of the long course. Our paths may not cross "offishully" but we'd better meet.  Wayno

Enthusiasm?  Oh Ya. Michael and Ed were the second car on the salt today. They have a front row pit spot and are waiting for their car to

arrive......probably around noon.

Relate your first year to what they are experiencing.

Freud, I'm just thinking about how jaw-dropping this is going to be for the students.  They've been welcomed with open arms to bring their creation to one of the most unique motorsporting events in the world, at a venue with a history going back almost a century.

And they'll get to work, turn some wrenches, tweak the car, and be up to their elbows and eyeballs making their car better, just like some of the greatest racers in history have done.

This is just cool beyond belief!

Now that's what I've been waiting for.

Save the boards. You will need them to come home.  LOL

School is IN SESSION!

Geez, the only field trip I ever had in school was to a stinkin' dairy farm . . .
