Anyone recognize this car???  I wonder what's under that rattle-can primer?

1929 Ford Roadster on 32 rails.old race car from the early '50s from Southern Calif..It ran 198.99 at Bonneville in 1982,145mph at the lakes and 1320' record holder in 1958.Car is now street legal with 265" early Corvette motor,350 trans.and Lincoln 9" rearend.It has a removable top and is fun to drive.I have owned this car for over 50 years,Car has won many Awards and Featured in many Hot Rod Books.......Seriously looking for a good home for my car...............$32,500.00,or best offer

It ran HOW FAST at Bonneville in 1982?...... in what incarnation was this car in 1982?..... it would have needed to bew a pontoon boat to run at Bonneville in 1982.....

On another note.... if the car had number 88 on it from a long time back..... was it originally a car owned by Bill Burke?

Yep, 82 and 83 were cancelled years if I remember it right.... I80 and the RR tracks in Salt Lake were under water.

We didn't leave Cailfornia in '83. No program, t-shirt, etc. A lot of build up for nothing. Good thing we had El Mirage out here.

Car is now street legal with 265 early corvette motor, 350 trans and Lincoln 9” rear-end, 4 wheel disc brakes & SO/CAL front-end. It has a removable top and is a blast to drive! It comes with 32 pink slip for a Roadster. He has owned this car for over 50 years. The car has been featured in magazine articles and was also an original member of the screwdrivers car club of Culver City 1949.The car was sponsored by Quincy automotive of Santa-Monica 1957-58.  Comes with early body parts such as belly pan and 50’s aircraft seat, incase you would like to put back as racecar.
