True Turn-key 200 MPH Firebird
« on: January 30, 2011, 06:55:26 PM »
1975 (Smoky & Bandit) Firebird with 850 HP naturally aspirated, gasoline, 496 BBC.  Best of everything.  Check earlier listings for full details, or email me and I'll send more info.  Car set 200.919 MPH record at Loring.  $23,500 ready to race.  Will consider partial trade for interesting street driver (muscle car, sports car, street rod).  DickJ In East Texas

Dick:

This is the only reference to your Firebird for sale: http://www.landracing.com/forum/index.php/topic,8873.0.html - the link in that one is busted.  I think that when old ads were purged, all your tech info disappeared.

Dick and I run a remarkably simillar engine combo, and mine went 238 at Speedweek with a conservative tune up, so considering his body probably has better aero than my Studebaker, His car is probably capable of 250 on the salt.            Bob
