Pilot bearin

What do you like ? Bushing or roller? I currently have a needle bearing unit, it is trash after about 80 miles of running. Trans input shaft alignment to crank is good and bell housing face is square with crank also.

We went to a roller bearing works much better than the needle bearing. If you can get a double roller bearing.  Richard

Just checking, did you grease the bearing? If their are dry the go away quick.

If you can't get a needle bearing to work I would definitely go with a bushing. You may screw them up, again lots of good moly grease, but if it goes it won't eat the end of the input shaft like a failed needle bearing can.
