Joke threads
« on: January 21, 2011, 02:40:32 PM »
Why are there at least five different joke threads on this site? Seems a waste of band width to me.

DW
White Goose Bar - Where LSR is a lifestyle
Alcohol - because no good story starts with a salad.

Dan, it's a price I'm willing to pay to keep the rest of the Forum on-topic (well, as much as it is).  I just counted -- and there are presently 71 joke threads.  I could merge them all, I guess, and maybe I'll go through and weed out the ones that haven't been looked at in a while (first, though, I'll define "while").  That'd clear up a bunch.

You're right about there being lots of threads, though.  I don't know if there's a way to get the jokes all posted on just the main topic - or maybe two or three, such as "blonde" and "lawyer" -- especially because as soon as I try to narrow it down, some joker (pun intended) will come along and declare it absolutely necessary to start a new one with his preferred target.

+5 and nice and sunny right now.  I suppose you folks out in CA don't have much knowledge of temps like this, do you?

I`m surprised no one has corrected Jon`s spelling in the ECTA Forms heading....Now if you`ll excuse me, I need to start a joke thread for left handed persons. :cheers:Jerry ( 5 degrees ? You folks having a heat wave ??)

Oh, no you don't -- no accusing me of an error and there's none there.  I'll call your bluff -- where's the error?

What are you two guys doing in the way of mind-altering stuff?  I don't see anything wrong with the sentence.  No typo, no comma fault, no nothing.

Sure is nice to have the full control board here, too.  Thanks.

I'll say it again -- boyoboy are you picky.  I'll look for that one later -- gotta go work on the pickup.  I spent an hour this morning plowing with the Bobcat, moving not only our snow, but that around the mailboxes of a few folks a quarter-mile down the Dukes Road - so Marty, the mailman, can get near said boxes.  Now it's time to goof off in the garage.

Jon, just do what my pal ryan does with teh Atomic Industry sites (HAMB, Garage Journal, Fordbarn etc) Purge the old threads off the backside when they get real old, if something looks worthy of saving fine, keep it.
