There will be a post later Sunday.

The good news is there is NO PRICE INCREASE in either the banquet fee or the room fee.

Freud, you can write in Nancy and me for the Reunion.  We'll arrive Friday mid-day, I think, and leave late Sunday morning.  I'll be calling the Shilo to make the room reservations - just wanted to get on the list.  I'll mail a check to you any day -- once I get that first Social Security check (which should be in the automatic deposit mail any day now!).  Does that mean that I'm officially getting older?

We've got our plane and Shilo Inn reservations all made, and plans to leave the wood-fired boiler under control for the three days we'll be absent, so there's not much left for us to do 'cept get to Portland.  We'll see you there.

A wood fired heating apparatus that does not require constant attention?  Amazing.  Mine requires a trip to the woodshed before the butt-crack of dawn, a few more during the day, and one last one at night.

Twice a day is plenty for ours.  And that's if we're trying to heat the house.  While we're gone we'll rely on the propane boiler to heat the house and let the wood boiler idle along.  It'll be fine for a few days -- it's so well insulated that it'll still be near 100F (water temp) when we get home, even with no fire at all.  It runs at 175F (setpoint).

Glenn I sent you an email. I'm sorry I can't make it this year... I am really going to miss being in the presence of my heros.
I will... God willing see you all at Speed Week this year.

Nancy and I leave dark and early tomorrow - from Marquette to Green Bay to Chicago to Dallas (WTF?) to Portland.  We'll be at the Reunion Saturday night -- with a few landracing.com gifts for Freud to give out as door prizes, and with a handful of Willie badges to see if we can raise a few more bucks for Sheri.  We hope to see lots of you there.

Now for the bad news:  We'll have the computer with us, so don't go trying to get away with stuff while I'm off the air.  You'll be BUSTED! evil tongue
