I will be interesting to see how they bulls--t the crowd since it is a Saturday bid car. I'll bet anything the "Burke" name will be pressed into action and it may even be one of the families car. Bill may get a lot more press than the car.................JD

just watched the belly tank go across the block. the auctioneer did not talk up the car very much. car sold for $65,000 dollars.      cheers

$71,000 and it didn't get on TV...I wish I could have heard what was said.....The 1962 Indy car was bought by a guy with a 300MPH hat on...Was it Nearburg?

There was no history on the Bellytank. It was built as a tribute car. So the card they handed out today said!  John

i was watching online and the only things that where said about the car was the description that was listed in the catalog and that they had never sold a car like it before. so was the car really worth the $71,000 dollars that was paid for it.
