What a loss  RIP Joe.  He always took the time to answer my questions no matter how dumb they seemed at  the time. I will miss my friend and our conversations.  Tony

He spoke at one of the Bonneville NW Reunions and I was intrigued as he discussed water flow as he did

porting.  He was involved with some strong cars years ago.

RIP, Joe.

Too bad. I am left with a feeling of being blessed in that Joanie and I were able to share dinner with Joe and his wife, plus some others at the Gas Up one year.

Joe brought wine from his own vineyard that the restraunt would not let him open. Joe offered the chef/owner a bottle. The wine was tasted, the owner told Joe to go out to his car and bring in as many bottles he wanted.

When I was drag racing Joe was the go to porting guy.

I raced against Joe in his Olds at Lion's dragstrip back in 1970. RIP and Godspeed Joe Mondello.

Does anyone know if Joe was honored as a member of the Dry Lakes Hall of Fame(Glod Coast Roadster Club). I can't seem to find my listing of members.

Thanks in advance,
