Passings

Another pioneer of the the salt flats passed away on 10-17-2010. Jim Fredericks owner and driver of the Fly-Rod Plymouth super Bee and was a pardner with Bob Sykes sr. on the car. Jim was a member of the Bonneville 200 Club with a record of 214 mph. They ran the car for several years and always did will. RIP Jim

Jim and his car were always an insperation to me and I looked forward to seeing and talking to him on the salt. He will me missed by all. RIP

I know he ran one year when there were three of those cars and there may have been as many as 5.
