The fire in the fireplace has been lit, I just turned the turkey (breast) that's one of the two meats for the dinner in a few hours.  I've shoveled the inch or two of slushy snow off the driveway and helped Nancy clean up the house a bit.  A small platoon of relatives arrives in an hour or so.  Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Willie and Sheri -- we're thinking of you on this day that's set aside for feasting.  I wish you the best and fastest recovery, Willie -- so you can soon enjoy eating a meal like we're going to have today.  I'll make sure that you are in our thoughts as this day proceeds.

Best wishes to all on this day of reflection and gratitude.

What am I grateful for today?

I'm grateful I'm not Kent's butcher.

I'm grateful I'm not eating at Noonan's.

I'm grateful I don't have Mike's culinary expertise.
